Welcome to the Midpoint Ministry Center! We are a group of nearly 600 people within the western suburbs who are committed to living as followers of Jesus Christ. Our group is a healthy mix of young and older, various ethnicities, and varied incomes. We believe this unity in diversity is a testament to the power of the gospel to change so many different lives.
Even though we all meet together on Sunday mornings, you’ll find that in many ways, we are small. In fact, we’re essentially made up of small gatherings that we call house churches. These small groups are characterized by love and devotion, and a place where we build close friendships, share meals in our homes, help meet one another’s needs, strengthen each other spiritually, aid one another in family matters (such as marriage and parenting help) reach out to our community, and anything else you can imagine a spiritual family doing together. We want every person who attends regularly, or even those who just visit one time, to feel God’s love for them through our love for one another.
On Sundays, we gather together for worship led by exceptional musicians, vulnerable sharing from members, and a sermon rooted in the Bible. Our children’s program, Kids Kingdom, is an area of focus since our community is comprised of many families. We constantly evaluate teacher training, curriculum, and safety protocols to ensure the children have a great experience at church as well!
Together, we’re striving to be the church described in the Bible (emphasis on striving!), a church with relevant and biblical teaching, inspiring preaching, heartfelt worship, honest friendships, a focus on prayer, and compassionate care for those in need. We want to influence and encourage the entire community, one life at a time. We welcome any who want to join us for Sunday worship or one of our house churches. If you would like to learn more we invite you to inquire about our series of Bible studies aimed at informing and strengthening the faith of anyone seeking to be more like Jesus.
