Mike & Kristen Balzer

Mike and Kristen were married in 2012 and have two young boys, James and Sammy. They are thrilled to work with the Youth and Family Ministry! They hope to create a fun and safe space for youth to engage with faith. They led a church planting in Vermont in 2013 and served there until 2020. They love snowboarding, movies and video games. Mike grew up in Texas and became a Christian in 2006 after a high school friend invited him to study the Bible. He has a B.A. in Communications from UT San Antonio. Kristen grew up in the Chicago Church, was baptized in 2005 and is currently a student in the Duke University Masters of Divinity program.
