The Freedom Ministry here in Chicago is a unique ministry which focuses its service to God on ministering to people who suffer at the hands of an addiction.  This includes both the people who are suffering from active addiction as well as the people who are in a close relationship with an addict.  As Jesus said, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor but the sick."  We seek to reach out to people with some extraordinarily challenging problems. 

The great news is that God moves most powerfully through our faith, not through our ability.  Over the last three years God has turned one CR group of 15 people here in Chicago into a ministry which has over 100 people who gather every week in 14 different meetings of both men and women around Chicagoland.  There are great testimonies of men and women previously addicted to alcohol and pornography who have been able to overcome and find freedom.  We have stories of couples who were on the verge of divorce, now not only recovering but leading others out of the difficult times as well. God has truly shown us his marvelous power to heal lives damaged by sin. 

Not only has God has poured out his glorious power here in Chicago, but has expanded this work to include several other churches around the US as well.  Cities like Nashville, Minneapolis, Madison, and Newark New Jersey all have sexual integrity groups that have come out of this freedom ministry.  We believe God will continue his torrent of healing as he continues to bless his Kingdom.
