On June 6, 2007 the Chicago Ministry Center celebrated the fact that the church began exactly 25 years earlier that day. During the sharing it was recalled that "one of the greatest memories over the years was getting a call that there was going to be a baptism that night and dropping everything to be there." Ironically, after midweek we got a call from someone that a student Ricky Acevedo who was studying the Bible was ready to be baptized. And so about fifteen disciples headed out to the 31st street beach.
