Dear Brothers & Sisters:
Thank you for the love and faithfulness you continuously express through your life and commitment to our God. As administrators, our goal is to manage the business affairs of the church in order to protect the church, while enabling the ministry to shepherd God’s people and share the good news of our Lord Jesus to our great city and Midwest. In managing the business affairs of the church, we must constantly try to apply the biblical principles of operating above reproach (Romans 12:17), submitting to the governing authorities (Romans 13:1), and not showing favoritism to any individual (James 2:1). As in the past, working with Godly leaders such as Tony & Melanie Singh, Darren & Sharon Gauthier, and AT & Marci Arneson and the entire ministry staff makes this endeavor a joy. Something that is not common or required for churches is the independent audit. Very few of the churches submit themselves to this process. This is not the case for the Chicago Church. Fourteen years ago we contracted an international accounting firm to perform an independent audit of our financial statements and we have continued this every year since. This process helps to ensure that the church stays above reproach in the area of finance and administration. The audited financial statements are now available (PDF) for your review and consideration. Thank you for your continuing love, faithfulness and financial support of the Chicago Church. To God be the glory! Faithfully Submitted, William Sanders, CPA Controller |
