We are grateful for the service of the four men who serve as elders of the Chicago Church of Christ. Jeff Balsom
Jeff is an elder in the Greater Westland Ministry Center serving the in the west suburbs and living in Wheaton. He and his wife, Roberta, have served the Chicago church in the ministry together since 1992. They became christians as singles in Columbus, Ohio in 1979, married in 1980 and moved to the Chicagoland area in 1988. They have three children, Paul, who is married to Sara, Susan and Alex. Jeff and Roberta feel called to help others build strong marriages and families. Todd FinkTodd committed his way to serving Jesus while a college freshmen in 1978 at the University of Colorado. He shared his passion for God with his high school sweetheart and she became a Christian soon after that. Todd & Cheryl were married right after graduating from college with degrees in Chemical Engineering and Elementary Education, respectively. Together they have served in multiple churches in a variety of different ways over the last 25+ years. Todd & Cheryl have three wonderful children, all girls. Todd has been blessed to own a business, Therafin Corporation, where he serves as the president. Randy HarrisRandy Harris was appointed an elder in the year 2003. Randy and his wife Patsy have been married since 1966. They have been faithful disciples for over 30 years. They moved to be with the Chicago Church in 1987 and have been on staff here in Chicago since the year 2000. They currently live in Berwyn and, in addition to serving as an elder, he and his wife serve in the Metro Ministry Center leading a sector and leading the Spanish ministry. They also oversee the Kingdom Kids children's ministry program for the church. They have 3 daughters who are disciples married to disciples, and are blessed with 9 grandchildren, one of which is a disciple. Their daughters and families are all a part of the Greater Westland Ministry Center here in the Chicago Church. Phil Lasarsky
