A discussion and support group for members with adopted children meets the 2nd Thursday of every month at 7:30pm at the church office (655 W. Grand Ave., Suite 220, Elmhurst, IL). The text that is being used to guide the discussion is Twenty Things Adopted Children Wish Their Adoptive Parents Knew by Sherrie Eldridge.
The Second Annual Spanish Speaking Women's Day will be held June 7, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the DoubleTree hotel in Oak Brook. This year's event is titled A Free Soul and includes a lunch and a message by featured speaker Wendy Ellis. The cost is $35 and registration will be available at church services in each ministry center.
The entire Chicago Church of Christ will join together in worship on Sunday, June 22, 2008 at 10am at the UIC Forum, 725 W. Roosevelt, Chicago. This worship service is also the conclusion of the Glorious Worship Leaders Conference.
The Chicago Church is excited to host this year's Worship Leaders Conference entitled Glorious. It will be held on the UIC campus from Friday, June 20th through Sunday, June 22nd. Complete details can be found on the conference website.
