A discussion and support group for members with adopted children meets the 2nd Thursday of every month at 7:30pm at the church office (655 W. Grand Ave., Suite 220, Elmhurst, IL). The text that is being used to guide the discussion is Twenty Things Adopted Children Wish Their Adoptive Parents Knew by Sherrie Eldridge.
The upcoming Congregational Singles Worship service will be entitled A Blessing to All Nations. It will be held April 27, 2008 at 10 a.m. at Bryan Middle School, 111 W. Butterfield Rd. in Elmhurst. Our guest speaker will be Mike Fontenot of the Hampton Roads Church in Virginia. Following the worship service, an international buffet lunch will be served.
The 2008 Prom will be held Saturday, May 17th at the Odyssey Country Club in Tinley Park. The prom is titled One Enchanted Evening. The $80 cost includes dinner, the dance and the all-night afterparty. To attend, see your youth and family ministry leader.
The next congregational teen devotional will take place on Saturday, May 31st from 4-6pm. The location will be the Tinley Park Reformed Church, 16530 Ridgeland Ave in Tinley Park.
