Clint and Christie Larr: Clint and Christie Larr were both baptized as teens in March of 1997. They we raised in the Church and both had parents who were in the ministry. Clint’s parents, Tracy and Phyllis Larr, served as evangelist and Women’s Ministry Leader in Boston and Houston, and are currently leading the Champaign Church of Christ. Christie’s parents, Preston and Sandie Shepherd, served as Evangelist and Women’s Ministry Leader in places such as Denver, San Francisco, and Mania, Philippines and currently reside in Castle Rock, CO. Clint and Christie met as interns for HOPE worldwide Youth Corps in Philadelphia and Chicago where they first grew in their attraction to each other as well as to the city of Chicago. They got married in March of 2005 in Colorado and went in 2006 to serve full-time in the campus ministry in Houston for a year and a half. They moved to the Chicago area in June of 2008 and have been serving full-time in the ministry since June of 2009. We are excited to add them to the Central Ministry Staff to direct the Youth and Family and Campus Ministries! |

Jim and Virginia Lefler: Jim and Virginia live in Downers Grove and have been in the Chicago Church since 1986. Jim has served as a volunteer elder since 1996. He and Virginia were married in 1972 and have two married sons. Jeremy and his wife Mwende are disciples in the Chicago Ministry Center and have two daughters. Nick and his wife Christine are disciples in the West Suburban Ministry Center. Virginia is the author of books for Christian women. Jim is the author of The Complete Guide to Grace. |

Dave and Kathy Eastman: Dave & Kathy were baptized in the late 1970’s through the work of campus ministries in Gainesville, Florida and Muncie, Indiana. They were married in 1983, and are the parents of three children – Jennifer, Kyle, and Stephanie. Jennifer and Kyle are college students in Gainesville, Florida, while Stephanie attends school in LaGrange, Illinois. After serving for almost 25 years in ministries all over the US and Canada, Dave & Kathy were excited to move back to the Midwest and be added to the Chicago team in July of 2006. After settling in to Chicago, Kathy enrolled in the School of Social Work at Loyola University, receiving her Master's of Social Work in 2009. Dave and Kathy serve as the leaders of the Central Ministry Center, with Dave also serving as the Congregational Worship Leader. Last year, he published his first book, That You May Believe: Reflections on Science and the Miracles of Jesus .
