James Becknell
James Becknell has been serving in the full time ministry since 1994. Both James and his wife Jennifer were raised, converted to Christ and married in Los Angeles. James is a graduate of the University of Southern California (BA Psychology), where he also served as campus minister. He has been in the Chicago Church since May of 2001. James is currently pursuing a Masters of Divinity from Harding School of Theology. He will graduate in Spring 2014. He has taken his concentration in Systematic Theology and his research and teaching interests are in the areas of Spiritual Formation, Early Church History, Patristic Studies and Philosophy.
Phil Lasarsky
Phil Lasarsky and his wife Kim have been faithful Christians for nearly 30 years. They are courageous disciples who are known for their deep love for God's word and for their personal example. Phil has served in many leadership roles in the church over the years. He currently serves as an Elder, Teacher and is a member of the Board of Directors.
Jeremy Lefler
Jeremy and his wife Mwende are a part of the Metro Ministry Center, along with their two children. Jeremy has been a member of the church since 1992 and has served on the ministry staff since 2000. He has a BA in English and received a Masters in Divinity from Harding School of Theology in 2011. Appointed as a teacher in January 2012, he now serves primarily in the Metro Ministry Center. In addition, he assists with teaching needs in other areas of the church as well as with the church’s staff education program. Jeremy enjoys writing and has a particular interest in the study of the gospels.
Dr. Bill Moulden
Dr. Bill Moulden was converted in 1991 at the University of Arizona. He and his wife have served in the full time ministry throughout the Southwest family of churches for the past 18 years. While leading the church in Albuquerque, NM, Bill received a Bachelors of University Studies from the University of New Mexico (2002), then a Masters in Divinity (2004) from Trinity Southwest University and then a Doctorate in Ministry (2008) also from Trinity Southwest University. He was appointed as a teacher in the Southwest in January 2009. His special interests include: cultural/historical backgrounds of New Testament discipleship and archeological history of the Bible. He is author of a forthcoming book, The Pattern of Discipleship.
Steve Staten
Steve and Tricia Staten have served in various ministry capacities since 1988. Steve is an Evangelist for the Chicago Ministry Center and oversees staff education. He has a Masters of Arts in Theology from Wheaton College, and works with the Ministry Education and Teaching service team for our fellowship of churches. He also helps in various ways to facilitate cooperation between churches and has written or contributed to a number of important articles and presentations that have been circulated.
